H.E. Dr. Arusha Cooray and Embassy officials met with representatives of the Human Resource Consultancy Company, BuilderPrise on 24 February 2026, and held a follow up meeting on 19 May 2026 to discuss employment opportunities for Sri Lankan workers at Al Maktoum International Airport.
The Embassy played a constructive and supportive role in facilitating a meeting between the consultancy company and the consular office regarding this matter, and to explore workforce needs, and identify opportunities for job creation in Dubai.
This collaborative effort contributed to a productive exchange that advanced shared economic and employment objectives.
