The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism in collaboration with the Registrar General’s Department has launched a pilot project aimed at assisting overseas Sri Lankans in obtaining certified copies of Birth, Death and Marriage certificates through Sri Lankan Missions abroad.
Accordingly, the Consulate General of Sri Lanka in Dubai (www.slcgdcxb.com) now facilitates the issuance of certified copies of birth, marriage and death certificates at a cost of AED 85.00 per document.
Please note that the certificates are issued in the original language available in the e-BMD system and translations are not provided.
