The faculty of Medicine of University of Colombo, Sri Lanka has called for application from foreign students to pursue Undergraduate Studies in Medicine (MBBS) for the academic year 2018/2019.
Under this programme, the Faculty of Medicine has given the opportunity for foreign students with high results in Physics, Biology and Chemistry acquired at an examination equivalent to G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) of Sri Lanka, to follow the MBBS Degree Programme at an attractive rate compared to other countries.
The Faculty of Medicine of University of Colombo was established in 1870 as the second oldest medical school in South Asia and the forerunner of university education in Sri Lanka. The teaching staff of the Faculty is comprised of the most accomplished, ambitious and dedicated scientists and medical professionals in Asia and the MBBS Degree awarded by the University of Colombo has been recognized by many countries including UK, Australia and USA.
