In view of celebrating Sri Lankan Sinhala and Tamil New Year, Lulu international supermarket and hypermarket chain today (10 April 2019) launched Sri Lankan food promotion week titled “Taste of Sri Lankan Food and More” at Lulu hypermarket at Madinat Zayed shopping Centre in Abu Dhabi, UAE with the participation of Mr. Sabarullah Khan, Charge d’ Affaires of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Abu Dhabi as the Chief Guest.
Launching was attended by senior management of the Lulu Group International including Mr. Abubaker TP, Abu Dhabi Regional Director of Lulu Group and UAE government officials. Guests were welcomed by an exciting Sri Lankan traditional Kandyan dancing performance.
Food promotion launch was filled with diverse range of Sri Lankan foods and delicious Sri Lankan cuisine. The Charge d’ Affaires and other guests tasted delicious Sri Lankan food at the event.
Exclusive Sri Lankan fruits and vegetables, packet foods, ready meals and organic foods will be available at attractive rates at all Lulu branches all over UAE for a week starting from 10 April 2019.
All Sri Lankans are invited to join Sri Lankan food promotion week at Lulu branches and avail the opportunity to taste and purchase exclusive Sri Lankan foods at attractive rates.
